Love for Blue

We won this project by blending her traditional sensibilities with his desire to keep the lodge heritage of the home. The client did not want to make any significant changes to the flooring, lighting, or wall colors. We were brought in to elevate the space with new furniture, art, and build an esthetic that blended these newly weds lives together. The assignment was keep it simple and make the home feel theirs.

Building Cohesion

Out with the old in with the new. We decided to go with neutral sofa’s and chairs to contrast against the darker elements of the room. It also allowed an opportunity to tie in the blue wall with the accessories and throws. Using black accent tables with the brushed brass lamps enriched and complimented the color.

Including a 12’ Bird of paradise helped scale the room up to engage the high vaulted ceilings as well as bring life to the space. We chose a local photographer to have black and white bison prints made narrating in Jackson Hole heritage if its roaming buffalo. The Chevron ottomans brought in some pattern and additional textual element to the space.
